Privacy Policy

LÍNEA respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you use LÍNEA, we collect the following information to provide your reading experience:

Profile information — your first name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, current city, gender identity, relationship status, and stated intention. This information is stored locally on your device only.

Palm images — when you scan your palm, the image is captured by your device's camera. Images are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for the sole purpose of generating your reading. Anthropic processes these images to produce your reading and does not retain them after the API call completes. We do not store palm images on LÍNEA servers.

Reading history and journal entries — every reading you receive, along with any journal entries you write, are saved locally on your device only.

Subscription and payment information — handled entirely by Apple and our subscription management partner RevenueCat. LÍNEA does not store your payment information directly.

Device information — basic technical information necessary for the app to function (device model, iOS version, app version). This is not linked to your identity.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data to third parties
  • We do not use your data for advertising
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites
  • We do not collect contact information from your address book
  • We do not access your photo library without your explicit permission

How your data is used

Your profile information is used to personalize your readings — your sun sign, life path number, and intention shape what your palm reading says. Your journal entries, when present, inform the tone and content of your reading. Your reading history is used to generate insights and comparative readings over time.

Your rights

You can export all your personal data at any time via Profile → Export My Data. The export is provided as a JSON file you can save or share.

You can permanently delete all your data at any time via Profile → Delete Account. This deletes everything: profile, readings, journal entries, palm images, and preferences. Deletion cannot be undone.

If you are a resident of the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. The Export and Delete features satisfy these rights.

Children

LÍNEA is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
